FOOTBALL VALUE

Football value starts with the price, not just the prediction.

PIF separates match qualification from price. A fixture can look statistically strong but still offer poor value if the market odds are too short.

01

What a value bet means

Value exists when the available price is higher than the minimum price justified by an estimated probability. It is about the relationship between probability and odds, not simply choosing the outcome most likely to happen.

02

PIF qualifies the match first

The attacking-pressure model identifies whether a fixture deserves attention before price is considered. This avoids treating a large price on a weak statistical profile as value.

03

Simple value labels

PIF compares the indicative market price with its threshold and presents the result using clear labels such as Strong Value, Value, Borderline or No Value.

04

Prices can move

Displayed odds are snapshots. A price that qualified as value earlier can shorten before kick-off, so the current bookmaker or exchange price should always be checked.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Straight answers.

Does value mean the bet will win?+

No. Value is a probability-versus-price assessment and any individual selection can lose.

Which markets get value ratings?+

PIF shows value information for Match Result, Over 1.5, Over 2.5 and Both Teams to Score on qualified fixtures.

Why can the value label change?+

Bookmaker and exchange prices move. If the available price changes, the relationship between the odds and PIF’s threshold changes too.
